Tyler B. Harp, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Medical Group. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed his pediatrics residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington. Dr. Harp is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Harp provides comprehensive care for children from birth through adolescence, helping optimize their health and development. He has additional training in developmental pediatrics, focusing on the screening and early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. His background includes service in the military health system, where he gained valuable leadership experience and professional growth. In addition to general pediatric care, Dr. Harp is skilled in newborn circumcisions, frenotomies, wound care, splinting, ingrown toenail removal, lumbar punctures, Nexplanon insertion and removal, and interpreting electrocardiograms and pulmonary function tests. He also specializes in behavioral health management for anxiety, PFTs depression and other mental health concerns in children and adolescents, as well as providing nutritional counseling for issues such as constipation and feeding challenges. Dr. Harp’s philosophy of care focuses on making patients and their families feel heard, valued and respected. He follows evidence-based medical practices while working collaboratively to consider cultural and family preferences in treatment plans. Outside of work, Dr. Harp is a husband and father to three children. He enjoys international travel, reading, playing guitar and singing, video games and sports, while cherishing time with his family. His faith and family are his guiding priorities in life.
